Millcroft offers a range of core & bespoke SHE training programmes which are delivered by our fully trained in-house Health & Safety team. The courses are held at our state of the art, fully equipped training centre which caters for up to 20 people. The training centre is CITB site safety plus approved which allows Millcroft to deliver such courses as SMSTS, SSSTS, ABC and the Health and Safety awareness courses in-house. Additionally, the centre delivers First aid at work, Mental Health awareness, Fire marshal and many more courses on a regular basis.

All Millcroft scaffolding operatives are CISRS trained as a minimum. Site Management are SMSTS trained and all Millcroft construction staff are CSCS trained as a minimum.

We directly employ and train all our construction staff including: ground workers, bricklayers, plasterers, painters and multi trades.

Millcroft endeavour, where possible, to employ operatives on a direct, permanent basis. Where this cannot be achieved, and we have to support our labour from external sources, we have built excellent relationships with carefully selected labour agencies giving you the assurance that the workforce is still well trained and competent to deliver Millcrofts high standards.

Annually we invest a significant amount of time and money so we are totally committed to ensuring our operatives are correctly trained to safely deliver projects and operate our plant and machinery. Our tracked plant operators, lorry loader Hiab operators and slinger signaller personnel are all trained to CPCS standard. We also have a number of IPAF & harness trained operatives to carry out high level works.
